Our Team

Our group consists of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral students who are interested in studying a variety of aspects of (quantum) open systems. Real-world systems exchange heat, and external fluctuations disturb them, making their dynamics statistical. Describing such systems and the many interesting effects emerging within them is our challenge.

How we do it

We employ tools of statistical physics and quantum optics to investigate the nonequilibrium properties of nanosystems operating far from equilibrium, in particular, beyond the range of linear response theory.
